Shuva Rahim - Peace Corps

Shuva is a children's portrait and wedding photographer who started her career as a newspaper journalist. She wrote about of issues related to education, local and state governments and health care at newspapers for six years around the Midwest.

Shuva also lived in South America for two years in the country of Suriname, where she worked with the Peace Corps in the areas of agriculture, business development and marine conservation.

She studied photography at The Salt Institute for Documentary Studies in Portland, Maine. Her work can be viewed at www.accentphotographics.com.
